Clearance

It's not officially Spring yet—the date is all wrong, there's white stuff on the ground still, and we're a lot colder than we usually are when Daylight Savings Time (that abomination of calendar fixing) arrives.  But we are getting visitors:

The geese are pooping everywhere, too.

In other news, we finally fixed the washing machine, whose RPM sensor was going bad.  L and I had taken the thing apart in a move reminiscent of suplexing the dishwasher, but we didn't make it too far.

After a series of happy events, we managed to get a good idea of what the problem was: two days and $35 later, we had a part.  20 minutes following, I was doing a load of laundry.  The repair people wanted $80 to come visit, and $120/hour billed in 15-minute increments.  All told it would've probably been a solid $250 to get it working again, so we're glad with 20 minutes and $35.

Life has otherwise just been flat busy.  I'm stealing a few moments at work on the back of a finished ticket, and have to dive back into planning for another, so this will have to serve as the first Robin of Spring.  Let me go sell my tunic now...
